An entrepreneur from the very beginning, Tony Scott was born in the onion capitol of the world, Vidalia, Georgia. He grew up hunting, fishing and boating and still enjoys those activities today.

As a kid he was always looking for a way to improve processes, even something as simple as raking leaves.

“Hey, to a kid raking leaves is huge.  I remember raking leaves and thinking there has got to be a way to get these leaves to the pile at the far corner of the yard that didn’t include 20 trips with a wheel barrel.  I approached everything that way.  I tried a lot of things that didn’t work but I typically proved out a solution that made the task easier.”

Building and improving processes has always been a passion, always wanting to discover the recipe for that perfect solution.  As a 7 year old boy Tony asked his Bible study teacher, "Exactly what do I have to do to get to Heaven?" He was looking for a recipe.

“The most important recipe I discovered was one that I couldn’t take credit for nor improve in anyway.  It is already perfect.  God made me and He made a way for me to have a relationship with Him.  All I had to do was just accept His gift.”

He learned one of God’s absolutes; that the wages of sin is death BUT the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus.

"For God so loved the world that he sent His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (John 3:16-17)

“The key is realizing you need a savior and that salvation is a gift that can’t be earned.  So many people rob themselves of joy trying to earn what God already paid for in full.  I’d rather spend my energy being thankful.”

On August 7, 1978 Tony

accepted God's gift of eternal life by accepting His Son, Jesus Christ, as his personal savior. That was the single most important decision Tony has ever made.

“The Lord is always with me, even to the point of starting TFS. I prayed long and hard, seeking God's will about beginning my own business. I had an overwhelming peace with the decision and a conviction that the goal of this business should be no different than any other part of my life, to honor and glorify the Lord”

The mission of his life and business is to glorify Him in whatever he says and does.

That is why you'll see Colossians 3:23 everywhere at TFS.

“Whatever we do should be as if we are doing it with the intention of delivering it straight to Christ.  We don’t preach to our clients, we just serve them with Cols 3:23 in mind.  I think they see the difference.”
